At this time, there are no membership dues; however, as the group grows in active members, this is subject to change as we are affiliated with FrontRunners International.
Just show up. It’s really that simple. No dues, no fees, no gimmicks. Showing up is what it takes to be a member.
Not at all! This group is open to all abilities, and includes slow, medium, and fast walkers and runners. You always have the option to customize your route/distance to your comfort level. The goal is to meet again at the starting point, whether you go the extra distance or shorten the route is entirely up to you.
Yes! We have many walkers in our group. It’s a great way to visit while you exercise. If you know of someone who would join you or have a furry companion, bring them along as well!
Absolutely! We love our furry friends but please make sure they are leashed.
After many members head to a local LGBTQ+ friendly coffee shop for a drink, snack and social gathering. If you bring your dog please note that they are not allowed inside the establishment but during summer months there is a patio that you can sit with them.
It depends on the time, season, and especially the weather. Typically we have 10-18 but we have seen as many as 25-30 on a nice morning.
Typically the route is about 5K but we have some members who may add on before or after to add on additional milage. Check our Schedule page or Strava for route maps.
The decision to attend any run/walk meetup is entirely up to the individual member, who assumes any and all risk. We encourage you to use your best judgement and err on the side of caution whenever the weather or conditions are not ideal. Often during inclement weather, we will post here on our website, on Instagram and/or on Strava that a meeting is canceled.
Yes. Our biggest attendance is in the spring/summer/fall, but winter events still go on. So if it’s cold, layer up and we’ll see you. If it is frigid (low teens/single digits) we are more likely to cancel.
