About: Ready Set started with a feeling: that first sip of coffee when everything clicks into gear. The idea to roast came over a pint in an Irish pub, in the renaissance capital of the world, Florence. Back in 2019, we were just a couple of Clevelanders roasting beans out of a garage—early mornings, loud music, chasing flavor. We moved into our roastery and cafe in Gordon Square with that same passion and a simple idea: serve great coffee, do it with care, and create a space that feels like forward motion, that feels familiar, that feels like a home away from home.
